Giving Thanks
Although not too many of you will be reading this on or before thanksgiving, I thought it would be a good opportunity to say thank you for all that you do. I am so thankful for the freedom we enjoy and often take for granted in our country. I am grateful for my family and friends. I am grateful for the simplicities in life and the opportunities God gives us each day to improve and better ourselves and others. I'm thankful for my job in surgical services and the opportunity to serve Alaska Veterans. I'm thankful for my husband who brightens everyday. I'm thankful for my parents who raised me right and showed us love and compassion in doing what's right. I'm thankful for health and energy. I'm thankful for the yummy thanksgiving food that I will get to eat tomorrow, and most of all, I am thankful for my Savior who atoned for my sins and weaknesses, who was the ultimate example of love and sacrifice, and who I can look to for life, JOY, and happiness. Please remember to give thanks for the things you are thankful for... not only today, but everyday. We are truly blessed!
