The parents visit Alaska..

So my parents are up from Arizona and so far, we have already been up to a few gorgeous and fun adventures. We have been having excellent weather- so we are soaking up the sun while it's here. I think my parents brought it up from Arizona. I don't mind. So here is what we've been up to so far... and it's only day 3 of them arriving! More to come...

Saturday we went on the Portage Glacier Cruise (about 1 hour south of Anchorage)

Today we ventured out to Eagle River and hiked almost 7 miles in some decent Alaskan heat!

This is where we hiked to (Echo Bend)... it was a long, but well-worth-it hike.

This was at the end where there is a lookout of the valley where we hiked into, the smiles were barely there as we were hot, tired, and our legs were ready to give out. I am very out of shape for one, and two- did I mention it was almost 7 miles? Yeah... I am out of shape!
