So... we sold our condo tonight and we will be moving to Arizona next month! We are so excited! No more open houses, no more cleaning like a mad woman with 5 minute notice of a person wanting to check it out, no more soliciting calls from realtors trying to get their hand in making a commision off my condo, no more begging Ken to do the dishes, take out the trash, straighten the towels, or pickup Kyson's toys, no more "I am very interested" only to leave us hanging... oh what joy! Seriously!
I have yet to tell my work, and am very sad to leave the VA, as I have really grown to love all of my co-workers and it feels like family. We are also sad to leave behind Ken's family, but we are equally excited to be near mine, as well as for new adventures and esp to escape the cold dark winter of Alaska. We are ready to "defrost" in Arizona... which at 100 degrees this week... I'm sure won't take too long.
We will be trying to see family and friends along our drive down-- we need something to break up a 5000 mile drive... so we will be in touch! I'm very excited for Ken to meet some of my friends and family he never has (as well as Kyson).
Ahhhh... the relief.... and now... on to packing!

Congrats!!! Maybe we will actually be able to see each other once in a while. Let me know if you make it to Boise on your drive, or I can possibly come up to Spokane. I would love for the kids to meet!

Nice work Kendra!! Alaska is beautiful but that warm Arizona weather is gonna be sweet!! If you pass through Seattle give me a call, I'd love to see you and meet that cute lil guy of yours! And after you get settled in Dave and I might have to come down for a visit : )
