So today was "pioneer day" and our church had a bbq/potluck/dutch oven cook off. It was really good. It was held at a new park in Anchorage that is really nice and is connected to several miles of trails. After we ate and Ken played some "pioneer games" we went for a little hike and took some pictures. We found this hilarious "wanted" poster for a manbearpig. Luckily we never did run into this strange creature... or I may have gone right into labor a mile from our car!

Ahhh. Pioneer Day. It's been awhile since I attended one of those...
Jimmy's heard of Manbearpig before, he's just not sure where. And, no- we haven't figured out where we are settling yet. I can email you and give you an update if you'd like. We don't post ALL of our plans on blogger. :p But, I still love the idea of CO. It won't happen, I'm sure, since we haven't even applied for jobs out there (as of yet). We are going there next month, though! Maybe we'll like it. :)
