Spring is officially here. It only means the HOT season is right around the corner. Summer is normally my favorite time of year, but in Arizona I DREAD summer. But on the bright side, that also means I love the rest of the year in Arizona. Lately we have been doing lots outside. Two weekends ago we went to the Renaissance Festival. It is always fun to see how many people get into character. They have about 12 stages of music, comedy, demonstrations, dance, drumming, kings/queens, and even a jousting reinactment. Here are some pics from that day. We went with some friends from our church and had a fun time.

I got a new camera so have been taking tons more pictures lately. I am really enjoying it. It's definitely an investment worthwhile. I remember a few years ago reading reviews of various SLR's and read one from an older man who said his only regret was not buying one earlier, when he could have captured so many more pictures of his kids, as you never get that time back. I try to take plenty of pictures, and certainly think my kids think the same. They are good at posing for the most part.
Kaelyn is now 8 months old and standing (without hanging onto anything) for about 2 minutes. Crawling like crazy. Smiles, and laughs at everyone. She loves her brother and sister. She is literally already sharing clothes with Kenley who is 2 years older. Scary, but it's also because Kaelyn is probably around 50-60% on the growth chart, while Kenley remains on the 1-2%.

Kenley still is a picky eater, prefers to drink milk only- but we are pushing more variety. She does love fruit, and her mom's homeade wheat bread, so I guess we'll be making lots of that. Kenley is getting more defiant by the day, but I still see my sweet pea in her. She is a LOT like her mom- temperamental, silly at times, helpful only when she wants to and definitely wants things her way. She is still very girly and lately carries a bag or purse with her all over the house, stuffing it with just about everything she can. If somethings missing, at least we know one place to look... her purse!

Kyson gets sweeter by the day. He tells me he loves me without any prompting. He even said it in the hallway at church to me and another woman looked at me and said "what a sweet boy." He is very helpful, very intelligent, getting much more talkative, enjoys preschool, lego games on the computer, building all kinds of things with legos, running around outside, riding his bike, and even grocery shopping with his mom. I try to coupon as much as I can, and he'll ask, "mom, do you have a coupon for that?" Keeps me on track. We will be registering him for kindergarten soon as he will start in August. I'm NOT ready for this step, but I know he will do well, and know he's ready after 2 years of pre-school with a wonderful teacher Miss Kathrine.
Ken has started a real estate class, kind of by default as I bought a groupon for it and encouraged him to go for it. I think he would be super good at any kind of sales. He is still doing his own business and keeping steady with that. I am still working about 20-25 hours a week as a home health nurse and enjoying that. I couldn't be happier with life.
Little easter egg hunt at my brothers neighborhood park. Its always fun seeing how excited the kids get.
